The Postal Battery Test has four components, listed below. Our prep questions for the postal battery exam cover all of these components to boost your success when you take the test.
The address checking portion of the exam is eleven minutes long and consists of sixty multiple choice test questions. These questions will show an address two times. The first time the address is shown it is correct, and the second time it will either have an error or will be unchanged.
This portion of the exam will take thirty minutes and consists of thirty multiple-choice questions. This section of the test is meant to evaluate your understanding of the forms used in postal work. You will be provided with a scenario and will be required to select the appropriate location for the information to be entered.
The memory and coding section of the exam comes in two parts. The coding portion will be six minutes in length and consists of thirty-six multiple-choice questions. This section of the exam provides you with various addresses and routes for delivery along with a coding chart. You will be required to select the correct delivery area for the addresses provides.
The memory portion of this section will require you to place addresses within the appropriate route for delivery, however you will not have access to the coding chart during this portion.
This section of the exam is the longest section, with a duration of 90 minutes. It consists of 236 questions that require both “Agree/Disagree” answers and answers that range from “Never” to “Very Often.” This section is designed to gather information about you personally and does not have correct or incorrect answers. For this section, you must consider your own characteristics and experiences that emphasize your abilities and skills that make you suitable for a postal job.
